Kate's Prize...The Cash Register

Kate is in to being the "pay lady" right now. She likes for us to come to her store and buy something, so her prize for having to endure such a hard morning with the MRI was a cash register. She is loving it! Of course, we have to be very careful with the change....it will end up in Fos' mouth!

Kate's MRI at Childrens Hospital

Kate had to have an MRI today because she has some sort of bump on her left ankle bone. After doing a sonogram and visiting a surgeon at Children's, we were told we needed to have an MRI so they could see what it was exactly. Hopefully, it is just something that can be drained and that will be the end of it. These pics were obviously taken when we first arrived this morning. Kate was in great spirits! We had explained to her where we going and how she couldn't eat anything when she woke up this morning because the doctors couldn't see her ankle if she had food in her tummy. They had to give her an IV to be able to sedate her and look at her ankle. It wasn't fun, but we're sure glad it's over. We will hear something from Dr. Megison on Monday. If you are reading this, please pray for Kate's ankle. We would certainly appreciate all prayers. Thanks so much!!!

Where the Wild Things Are!

Kate did not like the large "bandaids" the nurse put on both hands to prepare her veins for the IV. So, daddy read her Where the Wild Things Are to try and get her mind off of the bandaids!

I guess you could say Kate didn't like the IV! Mommy and Daddy didn't either!

Kate, Foster, Griffin, and Brooks

This pic was taken in August so obviously I am backtracking! However, I just got this camera out and had forgotten that I used it to take pictures on a trip to visit my parents down South. These are the cutest boys ever! Griffin and Brooks are the boys of our sweet friends Sarah and Greg Jones! We went to college with them, but became good friends while both living in San Antonio several years ago. I love San Antonio and if ever given the chance to move back, I would! I love the slow pace and well, I am from a small town and truly a "small town girl!" SA has the feel of a small town and who doesn't love the hill country! We enjoyed spending the day with them at Canyon Lake and look forward to many more fun times with the Jones Family!

Dallas Christian Legacy of Faith

Friday was DC Homecoming. Matt spent his entire twelve years at DC and therefore was invited to ride in the parade with Kate each wearing their "Legacy" t-shirts. The pic to the left is Kate, Grant Wade, and Brinley Kirk. The pic to the right is all of the students (K3-12) that attend DC who are children of DC Alumni parents. I thought this was such a neat thing for them to do!!! We had fun at the parade although it was very hot! Foster did great. After the parade we went to the pep rally which was too long for us to stay for with little ones. They both needed naps! We ended the day with going to the homecoming game which was fun too.

DC Alumni Legacy of Faith Float

The is the "Legacy of Faith" float. All of the DC alumni parents rode the float with their children. The kids were given the cutest shirts that said, "I'm a Legacy Kid."

Foster in ACU Today Magazine!!!

I sent this one in to ACU Today and they informed me that it will appear in the Winter ACU Today Magazine. Yippie, Go Foster!!! I loved ACU and my kids can choose where they want to go to college, but Matt and I had a wonderful experience!

Fos Every Morning!

This is what I find each and every morning when I get Fos out of bed. He greets me with a smile and paci's everyday. I adore him and he is such a precious and gentle baby!!! I thank the Lord for giving him to us!!

Foster and Stuffed Animals

This was obviously when Foster was much younger, but this is what Kate thought he needed....she put every animal she could around him....she thought she would help mommy out by comforting Foster. Kate loves her animals!
